Home Instructors The Cars Prices Why Us? FAQ

FAQ

What do I need to start driving?
You need to be at least 17 Years of age, hold a valid provisional licence and be able to read a number plate from 20.5 metres.
If I have already started learning with another instructor/company, will I have to start again?
No, after an initial assesment lesson (we recommend a 2 hr lesson) the instructor and yourself will agree on the best place to restart your learning.
How many lessons will I need?
See Prices page for DSA recommendation.
How long after passing my driving test can I leave it before undertaking the PassPlus?
Pass Plus is meant to be carried out within 1 year of passing your driving test. We will be glad to help people obtain confidence on motorways, dual carriageways and driving in bad weather on an hourly rate in an area of your choice with no association with pass plus if required.
Can I have help with motorway or bad weather driving without doing the PassPlus?
Why are you more expensive than some other schools?
While we try to keep our prices competitive we also believe that we offer value for money with our service.
I already have a full driving licence but would like some extra help with my parallel parking but I am worried that you will criticise other aspects of my driving.
You are never under any obligation to have a set amount of lessons as a learner or otherwise. If you want help in any area of your driving that is always our main objective. Any other advice given is purely that and will be aimed to improve your overall driving experience.
Why are your Refresher/Taxi prices higher than normal learner prices?
The reason for this is that as a qualified driver your training will be "on the move" and will generally require more travelling and therfore inflated petrol costings and time constraints.
